After a long break, I did a FET this morning. This is the 5th FET and probably the last one. We have two embryos left from #3 IVF cycle and they both survived the thaw today. I was feeling luck when I was told that they both survived the thaw. I had 8 embryos from #3 IVF. The clinic always chose the best ones first when you do FET which means these 2 leftovers are not the best quality embryos. But they are still in good shape. Below is the specs of two embryos after the thaw.

Embryo #1 – 3 Cells, Grade 3
Embryo #2 – 2 Cells, Grade 4

I am thankful that they both survived the thaw. The embryologist said they still have good chance to develop. You never know – miracle does happens!

IVF#3 – 10dpt HPT+++++

My dear friends and God, I am pregnant!!!

To tell you the truth, I did HPT 8dpt and 9dpt and got negative results. Knowing that it was too early to test, I was still disappointed and frustrated. I almost thought this cycle is not working since last time I got HPT+ at 9dpt. Actually I woke up this morning at about 4:10 am and went to bathroom and I didn’t even want to do HPT again. I still had a headache. I didn’t feel well and I didn’t want to see “Not Pregnant” sign on that digital stick. After I went back to bed, I felt sad and angry and frustrated. I was turning and tossing and couldn’t follow asleep any more. I had to get up at about 7am to have my breakfast since I was hungry.

As usual I I had an egg and a piece bread and a cup of milk. I also took 2 Tylenol pills to kill my headache. Then I went to bathroom. I didn’t pee too much but I managed to pee on the HPT stick just to confirm the result one more time. I was expecting to see “Not Pregnant” so that I can move on with my life. I put the stick on the bathroom counter and didn’t stare at it like what I did last two times. I didn’t care about it too much any more. However, when the 3 minutes flashing time over, I saw “Pregnant” on the stick!!!! What the ****!! I couldn’t believe it at all. I yelled to my husband “I am pregnant! I am pregnant!” He was surprised and came to me anxiously. He was excited as well when I showed him the stick. Oh my God, I didn’t know what to think and feel. 1 minute ago I was sad and depressed and just wanted to move on; 1 minute later I was excited and I am pregnant! All of sudden, I am feeling like a pregnant woman! I am pregnant indeed. I have the stick to prove it!!

Now what am I going to do? DH wanted to take a picture of HPT stick and I totally agree. So here it is the “Pregnant” sign:

IVF#3 – 7dpt

Symptoms on 1dpt-7dpt:

increased urinary frequency;

ovary area bloating;

sore back;

tiredness;

turning and tossing in bed due to bloating – it’s not comfortable sleeping on the right or left side since my body weigh push the ovary area.

I am really anxious to have HPT! I convinced myself not to do HPT this morning. But I will do it tomorrow morning on 8dpt.

3 Embryos Transferred Today

3 Embryos Transferred Today. 2 are grade 1 8 cells, the 3rd one is Grade 2 8 cells. All are high quality without fragment.

I am officially PUPO.

We are praying with all our fingers and toes are crossed!

ET was scheduled at 10:30 am tomorrow! 3 high quality embryos will be transferred. I got pregnant last FET with 3 embryos. I believe this time is the time!

12 Eggs Retrieved Today

We arrived at the Clinic at 9:30AM and the surgery started around 10:30AM. Everything went smoothly and 12 eggs were retrieved. Most of the day I lied down on bed or coach. I took Tylenol every 4 hours to release the discomfort. I also had a little bit bleeding. I am feeling good in general. Tomorrow the lab will call me and let me know how many eggs are fertilized with ICSI. I can’t wait to be PUPO.

ER Tomorrow

I did Ovidrel shot last night to prepare for the egg retrieval tomorrow morning. Everything is working fine. A lot follicles are developing. E2 level was 7950. Lining has 3 nice layers. RE is the one I like. Hope I can have a lot mature eggs retrieved tomorrow.

I am doing the right thing at the right time and right place. I am complete and healthy. I am blessed too.

Clinic Counseling

Today I saw a counselor at the IVF clinic. She was so nice and professional. She understood our journey and feelings. I was comfortable by just talking to her. Not like the other psychologist I saw another time, she didn’t push me to answer some questions that I didn’t want to answer. She helped me to resolve a few concerns that are currently bothering me and provide me some suggestions to relax myself. I will see her again next week.

Be positive. I know that I am taken care of. Everything will be fine.

#3 IVF – Starts Today

We are starting #3 fresh IVF today. Same protocol, same doctor, same medication.

ER is estimated on April 23~24; ET is estimated on April 26~27.

We are hoping this time is the time.

30dpt – 6Weeks 3days – Beta HCG 11749

Today is 30dpt, 6weeks 3days of pregnancy. I did another Beta to check HCG level – result is 11749, which is right on track. In the report, there is a range of HCG level based on time after last menstrual period.
